Good idea. From what I've been told, it's HECTIC to say the least. Year 12 Calc in a month.
Welcome to UWA, mate.

Curtin also offers a double degree with commerce now, though I don't know how much freedom it has compared to the UWA version.

Apparently, a double degree with engineering at Curtin takes 5 years compared with 5.5 years at UWA

I reckon you would still get employed first studying at UWA even if you finished 6 months later  Cool

It's not that hard to overload (2 or 3 times if doing civil) considering how easy commerce is, to finish in 5 years.

yeah, when I enrolled Curtin didn't offer a double in engineering / economics - probably would have gone to UWA anyway, but then at least I may have considered Curtin.

I'm finishing in 5 years - I overloaded 3/4 times, and now I am back to 4 units, and will only have 3 units in my last sem  Smiley [assuming I don't fail anything] So it is pretty easy to cut the length of your degree if it matters.

I'm thinking of doing Chem Eng with my commerce degree, but i heard curtin has more experience in the Chemical Eng field so I'm feeling a bit iffy about it lol  Undecided
